There’s to thee - old apple tree
Making form out of space. By pouring wet and liquid plaster into holes in the ground made by rat runs, I allowed the material to move, slide and fix itself into the void it finds.

Out of Place
Plaster casts taken from the surface of the ground. The depth of these casts was caused by the severely wet winter of 2019/20 and the weight of the horses caused deep poaching of the saturated mud.
Earth Pantry
Layering of process. Photographic representation of buried organic object magnified and printed on aluminium. Reconfiguring, replicating and re-interpreting.
Poached Earth
An area of poached earth in the field beside my house has been an abundant source of inspiration.
Inside Out
Sculpture made from casting a cowpat collected from the farmer's field. Making something tangible and lasting from an ephemeral object.
Hearth and Home
An exploration of material to understand the shape, form and the-between spaces.
Making Visible
Making Visible is a project exploring the hidden spaces, tunnels and runs made by voles in the ground. Using synthetic material poured into the holes and video footage I tried to capture these mysterious spaces.
Urban Rookery
Huge rooks' nests from felled trees were salvaged and regenerated by being presented on scaffold.
Listen to them Falling
Listen to them Falling comprises multiple strings of apples, wrapped in clay and suspended invisibly from the ceiling.
Tread 1. 51° 10' 40 N, 2° 24' 51 W
This sculpture is cast in the very place from where it originated. The action of the tractor pressing its weight into the mud temporarily changes the shape and surface of the ground.
