Out of Place
Plaster casts taken from the surface of the ground. The depth of these casts was caused by the severely wet winter of 2019/20 and the weight of the horses caused deep poaching of the saturated mud. Nature has allowed these shapes to be formed so there is an element of chance involved. These sculptures have captured a moment in time and could only have happened at this time and in this place.
